Alimova Valentina Petrovna

Was born in Moscow.
From 1933 till 1939 studied at the Graphic Department at the Moscow Institute of Arts, under the tutorship of K.N. Istomina, M.S.Podionova, L.A. Bruni and A.A.Dejneki.
From 1939 till 1942 worked at the publishing house Izogiz in the Posters' Department under the direction of D.S.Moor and A.M.Kanev.
In 1942 was evacuated to Chirchik, Uzbek SSR. Then became a member of Artist's Union of Uzbek SSR.
In 1944 came back to Moscow, was transferred to Moscow Union of Artists of the USSR.
In 1951-1954 worked at the workshops of Arts and Crafts at the Arts Fund of visual manuals at the State Moscow University.
In 1954-1974 worked at the Graphics Printing Training Centre.
A member of All-Union Republican and Moscow exhibitions.
