Dormidontov Nikolai Ivanovich

1898 born in St Petersburg
1914-1918 studied at the Petrograd School of the Artist's Encouragement Society.
1918 entered the Academy of Arts.
1919 worked for a year and a half as an artist on the Western front.
1920 returned to finish his education in art. Finished the ex-Academy of Arts in 1922. Was a student of Shukhaev and Petrov-Vodkin.
Was a part of the Association of Artists of the Revolution, The Workshop of the Artists, and The Union of the Soviet Artist.Participated in the exhibition "The Society of Sixteen", Association of the Artist of the Revolution, The Union of the Soviet Artist and some foreign exhibitions. Was a part of the exhibition for the 10th anniversary of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
1962 died in Leningrad.
His work are exhibited in the Tretiyakov Gallery, The Russian Museum, The Museum of the Red Army and The Museum of the Revolution etc.
