Cheremnykh Mikhail M.

Russian caricaturist, illustrator, poster and stage designer. 
1890 born in Tomsk, into a noble family.
Finished second year at the medical faculty in Tomsk
1911 -1917 moved to Moscow and studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under Konstantin Korovin (1861-1939), Sergey Malyutin (1859-1937) and Nikolay Kasatkin (1859-1930).
His diploma work was the oil painting Beggars (1916-17).
Later on Cheremnykh did little painting, working mainly on caricatures and posters.
