16.03.1912 (Usolie, Irkutsk region)  —  1991 (Moscow)

1920 born in Usolie near Irkutsk.
He was not educated specifically in art.
1950s-1970s illustrated political and mundane caricatures for the newspapers "Pravda" (Truth), "Komsomolskaya Pravda" (Comsomol Truth), "Krasnaya Zvezda" (Red Star), "Izvestiya" (News), "Sovetskaya Rossiya" (Soviet Russia) and for the magazines "Krokodil" (Crocodile) and "Yunost" (Youth).
Also created political posters at this time. Worked for book publishers in Irkutsk and Perm such as "Molodaya Gvardiya" (Young Guard), "Pravda" (Truth).
1974 named as Honoured Artist of the RSFSR.
