Vatolina Nina Nikolaevna

Became famous both in and outside of Russia thanks to her graphic style of posters. She was part of the association of young Soviet artists before World War 2 and many of her hundreds of posters are now part of the 'Gold Fund' of Russian art of the 1940-60 era.
She was educated in the tradition of the famous Russian art schools of the 1930's and demonstrated her talent in graphic and easel painting. She was also a writer and named her bibliography 'We are Poster Artists'.
She was very active during the World War 2 and it was in 1941 that she produced the famous 'Don't Gossip' which is still very popular today.
