1905-1917 studied at the Kiev School of Arts under Seleznev and Strunnikov.
1922 moved to Moscow. Created advertising for cinemas.
1924 started to working permanently for Sovkino Ltd.
1920s-1940s one of the main cinema poster artists of the time.
1926 became a member of the Association of Artists of the Revolution.
1931-1932 was a member of Union of Workers of the Revolutionary Poster.
1930s actively worked in cinema advertising.
1941-1942 was evacuated to Ufa. Worked for TASS Windows.
1940s-1950s worked on the political, propaganda and circus posters.
1981 named as an Honorary Figure of Culture of the RSFSR.
1988 died in Moscow.
