Alyakrinsky Petr Alexandrovich

Painter, graphic-artist and scene-designer.
In 1909-1910 was unregistered student at MUASA (Moscow University of Art, Sculpture and Architecture) under the tutorship of S.V.Ivanov and A.M.Vasnetsova.
In 1911-1915 studied at the Shanyavskiy's University.
From 1912 С 1912 collaborated with Moscow magazines, for whom he draw caricatures, sketches and cartoons.
From 1910 - participant in exhibitions.
In 1917 was as theatrical painter in Ryazan and Kozlov cities.
In 1918-1921 lived in Yaroslavl, where he taught at State Free Art Workshops and lead an art department in ROSTA.
In 1922 moved to Moscow, collaborated with the magazines "Red Niva", "30days", "Bezbozhnik". Designed books in the Gosizdat, Detgiz and other publishing houses. Also produced illustrations to "Aelite" by Tolskoy, poems by Demyan Bedny and series of easel paintings to "Moscow Types".
Participated in the exhibition of "Obyedinenie" (OBIS, 1925), international exhibition "The Art of Books" in Leipzig (1927), exhibition "Poster on service of 5year plan" (1932)
1941-1945. Created patriotic posters.
In 1945 was awarded the title "Honoured member of Arts"
